We’re at the half-way point this summer and I hope it’s a good one for you so far. I enjoyed the most memorable July 4th. . . ever. I drove to see my son, Pastor Michael Rippy, to watch their neighborhood parade, featuring 6 of my 8 great grandchildren. It was a throwback to the July 4th celebrations of my childhood. I watched children of all ages on their bikes and tricycles with the “red, white, and blue” everywhere and it was accompanied by a Motorcycle Policeman and a big fire truck. The real bonus for the weekend was attending my son’s church, Evangel Church, Montgomery, Alabama. . . . hearing him preach. . . . and watching him baptize 3 of my “greats”. It just doesn’t get better than that.
I'm trying to post often, and would love to read your comments!
