TELEVISION MASTER CONTROL OPERATOR
(WCLF – Largo, FL)
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma, AA or Bachelors degree in film, television or related field preferred.
Work Experience: 1 - 2 years television experience.
Qualification: Christian individuals with a desire to help make a difference in the world through work and life by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all television network programs air properly.
Multitask by maintaining accuracy of traffic logs, play lists, video captures and file transfers.
Performs additional duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
An in-depth knowledge of television broadcast operations including automation systems, commercial insertion, traffic software, test and measurement devices as well as various file server technologies.
Competent to troubleshoot audio and video problems that may occur with server, graphics, and uplink and/or downlink signal paths.
Sufficient knowledge and experience in computer video editing platforms.
Working knowledge of computer server file formats, DVD’s and ftp file transfers.
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills; communicate ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
Extensive computer knowledge including being well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to find solutions to difficult challenges.
