2024 Nepal Update

Childrens Home of Love

At the end of 2024, our President and Vice-President, Yolanda and Brian Morris, went to Kathmandu, Nepal, to visit our outreach Children’s Home of Love. CTN has had this outreach since 2003, and during that time we have touched the lives of 41 children. This isn’t just an orphanage; it is a family. We take them in from when they are young all the way through school, giving them education to receive a college degree or a trade. To date, 15 kids have received a college degree and now either run their own business or have wonderful jobs in their fields.

Brian and Yolanda spent time getting to know the four new girls that have come into the home recently and had a big barbeque with all of the children — even those that now live on their own came to the party. Seven of the kids graduated high school and received their adult study Bibles, something they always look forward to.

Brian and Yolanda then traveled to India to teach at a girls training center, preach in several churches, and bless a village church with some much needed upgrades to their building. They also traveled with one of the older girls from the Children’s Home to attend nursing school. While there, they were able to surprise one of the girls in her 2nd year of nursing school who didn’t know they were in the country. It was a fruitful trip and we couldn’t do outreaches like this without you, our viewers and supporters of CTN.
