CTN Southwest Florida is looking for a Full Time Traffic Coordinator worker.

The Traffic Coordinator manages and coordinates all aspects of daily television programming, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality broadcasts. This role communicates with programmers, media directors, and internal departments, maintains administrative systems, and provides administrative support to the General Manager.
Required Education and Experience
Education Requirements:
Minimum: HS Graduate/GED
Prefer: A 4-year college degree
Work Experience Requirement:
- Previous office experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills both in both oral and written.
- Strong PC/MS office experience.
- Competent working in Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multi-tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Work well within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Always exhibit a professional attitude and be able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
- Comfortable working with clients, pastors of various denominations and/or non-profit representatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Administrative:
- Perform general office duties: answering phones, greeting guests, signing packages.
- Maintain organized records, including station logs, discrepancy reports, and programming contracts.
- Track expirations and coordinate renewals with the General Manager and Corporate Office.
- Complete monthly discrepancy reports and the annual FCC Children’s Report on time.
- Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, and interdepartmental coordination.
Programming / Broadcast Operations:
- Create, update, and maintain daily traffic logs and schedules; ensure server playout matches logs, and all programming is accurate and error-free.
- Monitor audio and video inputs, ensuring quality sound and picture levels.
- Make immediate decisions in emergencies (loss of picture, sound, program over/underruns, equipment malfunctions, EAS alerts); be familiar with EAS procedures.
- Arrange and review FTP downloads and automated satellite airings, coordinate with production for in-house programs, promos, IDs, and tags.
- Communicate with local programmers to resolve program delivery issues.
- Perform daily log reconciliation and prepare reports on discrepancies.
- Email monthly program schedules to EPG contacts and verify the station website is updated.
- Maintain professional on-air presence, ensuring smooth, error-free switching and accurate 24/7 programming.
- Be ready to resolve programming or technical issues and coordinate with network engineers as needed.
