FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT
WHAT ARE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT?Though the fruits of the Spirit are mentioned in several areas of the Bible, we find in the book of Galatians nine fruits of the Spirit that are imparted to believers in Christ. The Apostle Paul lists them in Galatians 5:22-23.
These fruits are the evidence—the outward display—of the Holy Spirit’s work within a Christian. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness and self-control. The fruits of the Spirit demonstrate the character of a life submitted to God.
