WHBR is pleased to announce the availability of an internship in our Production Department. We are looking for hard working interns who are interested in a non-paid learning opportunity, where they can extend their television broadcasting education beyond the classroom.

During this internship, you will gain an understanding of the planning and the procedures that go into creating magazine and docu/reality format television programs.

You will be involved with:

  • Organizing and setting up in-field and in-studio shoots.
  • Assisting in or directing these shoots.
  • Editing program segments.
  • Assisting show producer with all aspects of production.
  • Assisting with various studio activities.

Hours:
A commitment of at least 12 hours per week is required. Ability to work normal weekday hours is preferred.

Duration: 3 months

COMPENSATION: This position is unpaid.

Qualifications:

  • Previous shooting & editing experience or Missionographer Training Academy graduate
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to complete projects by deadline
  • Ability to learn things quickly
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
